About Us

My name is Jeff Trag and in January of 1999 I moved to Mexico to make my jewelry boxes. While I still make my jewelry boxes my business soon found a new avenue, selling Mexican crafts to restaurants and stores.

I like to call what I do as a “craft buying service”. I do not have a warehouse full of products ready to ship but rather I have access to hundreds of Mexican crafts persons in every imaginable field.  By not having that warehouse full of product I can offer you so much more. When you need something I contract with just the right artisan to get you exactly what you need. This of course takes more time but the value to my customers is great for they virtually get to choose from the very best of Mexico with much less restriction that buying what some warehouse has in stock.

Let me be your eyes and ears in Mexico. I promise we will do my damndest to get you exactly what you want, delivered in one piece when I promised to get it there. Of course the best laid plans sometimes go awry and if that happens I will do my best to make it right. If you like I can provide trade references.

If you think I can do you some good drop me a line and we can start talking about your needs and what I can do to help.  Thanks, Jeff

The Idea
For 38 years I have been making and selling my jewelry boxes to stores. In 1999 I moved to Mexico. In the past 18 years I have been living and working with Mexican crafts persons and have now decided to take that experience and use it to serve restaurants and gift shops in the USA.

In September of 2006 I started putting Mexican crafts on my web page. There are still lots of things I want to add to my web page. If you need something that is not on the web page please ask me. I just might be able to find it.

I want to be your eyes and ears in Mexico. I live and work here and can buy for you at a fraction of the cost that it would be if you were to fly to Mexico, stay in hotels, rent a car, look for what you want, buy it, store it, pack it, ship it, and deal with customs. Also by only buying things when I have your order and eliminating the need for a warehouse full of inventory I can offer 10 times more products than US based dealers.
Of course by being in Mexico and having everything custom made I am not able to ship fast. For most things try to give me 2 months lead time. Very often I can do things more quickly but I am shipping out of Mexico and "Murphy's Law" is always there to disrupt the best laid plans. That being said I endeavor to give my customer the fastest most professional service possible.

On most products the shipping to Laredo is included in the price you pay. The only exceptions are furniture and bulky items.
All of this allows me to give the absolutely lowest prices possible.
You have nothing to do with Customs or Mexican Freight. You pay only normal ground FedEx rates from Laredo TX.
