UPS Ground Shipping Cost
Regular UPS shipments are charged as if the shipment left from Laredo Texas. I pay the Mexican part of the UPS charges. After the ground rates below I show how it is cheaper to use UPS Worldwide Expedited Air Service when shipping a single small box. Larger shipments are charged at a discounted rate that is less than the normal UPS rates as show on the UPS on line calculator.
UPS discounts are based on the total weight of a single shipment to the same address. Simply stated the more weight you ship the cheaper it cost per pound. Below is an example of how shipping becomes cheaper as the weight of your shipment goes up. The weight of individual boxes are not important. To ship 22 10 lbs boxes cost the same as 5 44 lbs boxes. On small shipments it is cheaper to use UPS Worldwide Expedited Service. This is the option we will want to use on Drop Shipping smaller boxes.
